RSD Indoma expressed his intentions in doing such visits to meet the Council Chairperson, Department of Education (DepEd) personnel and officials, and the Governor.

The said courtesy call paved the way for RSD Indoma to further disclose the forthcoming activities of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP) including its Flagship Programs—Urban Agriculture and Road Safety Seminar. Aside from these, other activities of the WVR, Local Councils and city Scouting Committees such as Scouts of the World Award (SWA), World Scout Environment Programme (WSEP), Training for Leaders of Adults (LOA), Course for Managers of Training (CMT) and Course for Managers of Learning (CML) were discussed as well.

Hon. Francis Frederick P. Palanca, ALT—Council Chairman and VP for Visayas Regions together with the Victorias City Scouting Committee and Council staff welcomed the RSD through reception at Victorias Resto Bar earlier today, April 7.

Indoma expressed to the said council and committee the Regional Office’s support and gratitude. He gracefully thanked Mayor Palanca who is the incumbent Council Chairman and VP for Visayas Regions. With this, it drives them for another partnership towards better scouting in WVR.

The councils under WVR are Aklan, Antique, Bacolod, Capiz, Guimaras, Iloilo (Confesor), and Negros Occidental. The said region was recently separated from the “One Visayas Region” and has now a Regional Office based in Iloilo.
